We welcome everyone regardless of their religious or non-religious backgrounds. \nHelping Parents Heal recognizes several factors that contribute to the healing process: caring support from others\, interaction with people who have also experienced the loss of a child\, service to others\, personal transformation\, and discovering a reason for hope. This hope comes from acknowledging our spiritual/energetic natures and understanding that our loved ones continue on in another realm after physical death. \nParents\, grandparents\, and siblings of a child who has passed at any age are welcome to join us. DESCRIPTION:REIKI SHARE – This is a monthly gathering on the third Saturday morning\, 9:30 am-12:30 pm. Ready to Refresh\, Reconnect and Rejuvenate your Reiki?  This Reiki Share is a great opportunity to support Reiki practitioners at all levels.  Whether you are just starting out\, you haven’t practiced in awhile\, or you are more experienced you are most welcome.  This Share is open to the USH community as long as you have some level of Reiki training. It is dedicated to refreshing and reconnecting you with your Reiki energy and enjoying self and group healings. We open and close with discussion and sound meditation\, then we take turns on massage tables giving and receiving this Japanese style energy healing practice in small groups. A donation is requested\, suggested $15/20.

Fred Louis and Ed Savage are offering an opportunity to CT Singing families\, singers\, song-writers\, and audience members to join in song on the third Saturday of each month from 2 to 5 PM. We will have song-sheets and some loaner copies of Rise Up Singing available. Bring your own ‘Rise Up Singing’ if you have one\, as we have used it a lot in other months. We will also use the NEW “Rise Again” sequel – 1200 more songs to sample.\nVAX protocol: OK to sing\, socially spaced\, if you are vaccinated AND boosted; even so\, if anyone is uncomfortable about singing unmasked\, we should ALL wear masks. Please feel free to express your caution about COVID contagion by contacting Fred and Ed (see above).\nIf you have NOT completed your COVID vaccination cycle\, we ask that you skip the Sing-Alongs for now\, to protect you from US.
