Exploring the Divine Feminine aspects of yourself? Learning sound meditation as a relaxation practice? We invite you to try us out. \nParticipatory sound\, with small drums\, Tibetan bowls\, rattles and voice\, is incorporated in the practice. Beginners are welcome. Extra instruments are available to borrow. As an ongoing group since 2008 you are encouraged to contact Lisa Burch for orientation prior to your first meeting with the group.

DESCRIPTION:HOOKED RUG SHOW OPENING\n\n\n\nValentine’s Day (February 14) at the Unitarian Society at 50 Bloomfield Avenue\, Hartford\, Connecticut at 3pm.\n\n\nThere are forty hooked rugs on display from the upcoming book The Rose’s Tale\, which will be out in early Spring. I’ll be giving a talk and there’ll be snacks and drinks – a party! Come and check out these stunning rugs\, hooked by friends all over the U.S. and Canada. Be my Valentine\, and let’s fall in love with these gorgeous rugs together!\n\n\nwrite at ribboncandyhooking@gmail.com with any questions. This event is free\, but feel free to leave a donation for USH.\n\n\nIf you aren’t able to come to the party\, but you would like to see the show… send me a message.
