SUMMARY:Building Community through Storytelling - Meditation Sanctuary
DESCRIPTION:Building Community through Storytelling ~ Sunday\, October 5th \nIn the play Hamilton\, a song entitled Who Lives\, Who Dies\, Who Tells Your Story? explores how history remembers people and the stories they tell\, highlighting the importance of who gets to shape the narrative of a person’s life. \nOn October 5th at Noon in the Meditation Sanctury take the opportunity to participate in a facilitated Storytelling session\, sharing a bit about the essence of who you are and hearing about others’ life journeys.  This 75-minute sharing of stories is an ideal opportunity for participants to connect more deeply with fellow USH attendees beyond the light talk of coffee hour. \nThe goal? To get to know each other better\, building a stronger sense of community.  It is an opportunity to grow a connection between long-term USH members\, recent visitors who have opted to stop in again\, and those who used to attend services at USH and have opted to check in after a long stint away.   Reach out to others and start developing new relationships (or strengthening existing ones) by shaping and sharing your narrative during this Storytelling session.  To enable all to share\, the group size will be limited to 12 participants. Please RSVP to Gloria Francesca Mengual by emailing her at gloriafmengual@gmail.com.  If this session fills\, Storytelling sessions will be offered again during the next few months.
