Hartford Jewish Organizing Collective Yom Kippur Breakfast Dinner – Fellowship Hall – Rental

October 12 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

HJOC will be hosting our first-ever breakfast on Saturday, October 12th at the Unitarian Society of Hartford, 5:30 pm. We would love for you to join us to break your Yom Kippur fast and be in loving community while we close out some of the holiest days of the year.

We have limited seats so there will be a ticket fee for each adult (kids are free) who RSVP. Tickets are priced on a sliding scale $5-15/adult, children are free! The money we collect from these tickets helps cover the cost of our event insurance, the food for breakfast, and a donation to the Unitarian Society of Hartford for so graciously supporting us in our events.

For the general health and safety of our kehila kedosha (holy community), we are asking all guests to COVID test before attending. We will provide masks and hand sanitizer for those who would like them, and we strongly encourage you to stay home if you’re feeling sick or if you or someone you’re with frequently has had an exposure.

If you would like to attend please fill out the following Google Form

Once completed, venmo Raquel (one of our Ritual Committee Chairs) at @raquelgmorales.

The event will take place on the Hartford-West Hartford line. More precise location information will be sent out a few days before the event.

If you will be taking public transport the best bus routes to reach our location in Hartford would be any of the following lines:

56 Bloomfield Ave-Bloomfield Ctr

58 Albany Ave/Bishops Corner, or

153 COPACO via West Hartford Ctr

We look forward to seeing you!
